On 02/06/2017, at approximately 1203 hours, the San Ramon Police Department was dispatched to a report of a bank robbery at the US Bank, located at 2821 Crow Canyon Road.
During the subsequent investigation it was learned that the suspect entered the bank at approx. 1159 hours. The suspect contacted several bank tellers and demanded money, telling them to give him large bills. During the robbery, the suspect was observed to be in possession of a firearm, thought to be a revolver. Prior to leaving the bank, the suspect directed one of the employees to accompany him out of the building. The suspect walked with the employee for approx. 150 yards to a residential area at which point he directed her to return to the bank.
The suspect (pictured below) was described as a white male adult, approx. 40-45 years of age, with gray colored facial hair (stubble). He was wearing a dark colored pea coat, gray hooded sweatshirt, black beanie, dark colored trousers and dark colored cotton or wool gloves.
