On today’s date at approx. 1303 hours, a subject entered the Safeway store located at 2505 San Ramon Valley Blvd. He walked directly to the US Bank counter and brandished a black, semi-automatic handgun along with a demand note. The note demanded money. The teller refused to give him money, at which point the suspect fled on foot and exited the store.
The suspect was described as a white male adult, 6’0″, mid 40’s, weighing 215-230 pounds. He was wearing a straw hat, a button down Hawaiian style shirt, dark pants and white shoes. The subject is seen in the attached photos.
