Weekly Arrest Log – 2/27/17-3/5/17

In our continual effort to keep the public informed on what is going on in San Ramon, we will now be publishing a weekly log of the arrests made by members of the San Ramon Police Department. A link to this arrest log will be posted weekly on Twitter, Facebook, and also distributed on Nextdoor for those who live in San Ramon.

Below you will find a brief summary of the arrests made by Officers from the San Ramon Police Department between Monday, February 27, 2017 and Sunday March 5, 2017.

Monday, February 27, 2017

– A 22-year-old male was arrested in the parking lot of 24-Hour Fitness, located in the 4400 block of Norris Canyon Road, for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, and a probation violation.

Thursday, March 2, 2017

– A 23-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence.

Friday, March 3, 2017

– A 27-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery.

– A 27-year-old male was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition and probation violation.

Saturday, March 4, 2017

– A 27-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery.

Sunday, March 5, 2017

– A 33-year-old male was arrested for grand theft (shoplifting) from the Safeway store located in the 11000 block of Bollinger Canyon Road and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

– A 27-year-old female was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

  6. Thank you LT. I just saw this topic on the Next door site for our neighborhood. If it comes through that method, I believe I should be able to scan through the pages for the important stuff. I feel it is important to be aware of our surroundings in the neighborhood. I don’t want added work on your part. I want to keep SR as safe as possible and if I am informed and keep others, I think it should help.

  7. Our pleasure Manju – Moving forward we are going to include a general time of day for each arrest. Something similar to early afternoon, overnight hours, early morning, etc.

  9. John…we put out a weekly calls for service report that is picked up by several local media outlets (San Ramon Patch, DanvilleSanRamon.com, etc). We are considering a way to distribute this report through this forum but that process is still in the works. Unfortunately, this report is quite cumbersome simply because we have a lot of calls for service. On our end, the complete report is generated automatically by our dispatch system and the media outlets themselves filter the mundane calls out before it is distributed to their readers. Hopefully we will be able to get it going on this site sometime soon. -Lt. Denton Carlson

  10. I just came upon this information and is very good to have, thank you. What about actual reporting of crimes? Knowing when and where burglaries, assaults, robberies, etc. occur would be very helpful. Even If it is broken down to areas that things occur. There might be something to look out for, etc. I’m not looking for actual addresses. Privacy matters to most people. I do my best to keeping aware of what is happening in our neighborhood.
